The 49th annual scientific congress for 2016 of the Sri Lanka College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists was held from the 1st to the 3rd of July. The theme for the year was “Serve Women and Save the World”. Sessions covered current issues linked to women’s health, especially targeting the Sri Lankan and South East Asian population. Resource persons were from USA, UK, Australia and the SAARC region. FPA Sri Lanka were one of the sponsors of this event.
