Location: Colombo with frequent travel to field locations in other districts

Contract: 1 year with the possibility of extension

FPA Sri Lanka is seeking suitable candidates to join its team in implementing donor funded projects as the Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator will be responsible for planning, managing implementing activities through the network of civil society organizations.

Who may apply: Individuals with

• Post-secondary education preferably in public health, social sciences, management, economics, development studies

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the private, state, academic or NGO sector in a similar capacity

• Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and to be a successful team player

• The ability to engage in frequent visits to the project field sites and clinic sites.

• Ability to work during weekends

• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills to liaise, negotiate with government officials and community representatives.

• Good report writing skills

• Work experience in health-related project will be an added advantage

• Computer literacy in MS Office package
