
ReproSex is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal dedicated to advancing global understanding of Sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR). It is the official publication of the Family Planning Association of Sri Lanka, an accredited member of the International Planned Parenthood Federation. This journal is published twice a year, in June and December.
It aims to publish high-quality original research, reviews, commentaries, case reports and policy analyses that address critical gaps in SRHR knowledge and inform the development of laws, policies, services, and practices that uphold the rights and meet the sexual and reproductive health needs of people across all ages, gender identities, and sexual orientations.

The submission, peer review, and publication processes for ReproSex are managed through the Sri Lanka Journals Online (SLJOL) platform, operated by the National Science Foundation of Sri Lanka.

ReproSex follows a double-blind peer review process. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two subject experts prior to publication. Please download the reviewer guidelines and evaluation form here.
The digital version of the journal is available free of charge to ensure wide and easy access. Hard copies may be obtained for a nominal fee covering 40% of the printing cost. This approach supports sustainability by discouraging unnecessary requests and minimizing resource waste.
