𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐲𝐠𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐞 𝐊𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐂𝐲𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐭𝐰𝐚𝐡 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬

With the aim of uplifting the living conditions of communities affected by the recent cyclone, 1,000 hygiene kits have been prepared under the International Planned Parenthood Federation - IPPF SPRINT 2025/2026 Project.
This initiative was carried out under the leadership and supervision of Executive Director, Dr. Ruchitha Perera.
As the first phase of distribution, 323 kits,including Maternity Kits, Dignity Kits, Adolescent Kits and Transgender Dignity Kits,were dispatched today from the FPA Head Office to the SDPs in Nuwara Eliya and Monaragala, for distribution in the Nuwara Eliya and Badulla districts.
This activity took place under the supervision of Mr. Sandun Adikari, Assistant Director – Outreach and SPRINT Focal Point.
In the coming week, these hygiene kits will be distributed to disaster-affected and vulnerable communities in the Nuwara Eliya and Badulla districts, in coordination with the respective RDHS offices. Distributions are also planned for the Colombo, Gampaha, Matale, Kandy, Kegalle and Puttalam districts.
