FPA Sri Lanka proudly marked the reopening of the former Chinthana Training Centre, now reimagined as the Chinthana Eco Retreat, following extensive refurbishment and transformation.
This renewed space reflects a refreshed vision of creating an environment that brings together learning, collaboration, and well-being in harmony with nature. Surrounded by serene landscapes, the Chinthana Eco Retreat now offers an enhanced setting for residential programmes, trainings, workshops, conferences, and group retreats.
The upgraded facility provides improved accommodation, modern training and meeting spaces, dining facilities, and outdoor recreational areas, allowing it to better serve diverse groups and programmes. The centre is designed to support both structured capacity-building initiatives and experiential learning engagements. Importantly, it will also contribute to the financial sustainability of FPA Sri Lanka by generating income that helps further strengthen and advance its mission of delivering health services and promoting reproductive health, rights, and justice across Sri Lanka.
Gracing this special occasion were Ms. Aruni Marcelline, President of FPA Sri Lankaโs Board of Directors; Executive Director Dr. Ruchitha Perera; Ms. Kritanjali Ratnasabapathy, Chairperson of the FPA Youth Services Committee; Dr. Chintha Rupasinghe, Director โ Sexual and Reproductive Health; Mr. P.S.U.R.
