The Training of Master Trainers on the Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) for Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) in Disasters successfully concluded its 3-day intensive programme for doctors attached to the Family Health Bureau (FHB), with participation from across multiple regions of Sri Lanka.
 
This internationally accredited training is designed to be tailored to diverse contexts, addressing the range of emergencies, survivor needs, and response mechanisms unique to each setting.

The programme commenced with welcome remarks by Mr. Sandun Adikari, Assistant Director Outreach and SPRINT Focal Person at FPA Sri Lanka and a formal introduction to the initiative by Dr. Ruchitha Perera, Executive Director โ€“ FPA Sri Lanka. Dr. Chandima Siritunga, Director โ€“ Maternal and Child Health at FHB, introduced the cohort of trainees and the team of national experts leading the sessions.
