FPA Sri Lanka has established Youth Clubs across its Service Delivery Points (SDPs) islandwide to create safe, informed spaces where young people can build leadership, access accurate information, and act as peer advocates for sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) within their communities.
In line with this commitment, the Kilinochchi SDP successfully completed a one-day Youth SRHR Orientation Programme for Youth Club members, which also included an introduction to FPA Sri Lanka’s clinic services.
The programme featured two sessions, led by Dr. Elankkumaran of the District General Hospital, Kilinochchi, and Dr. Dirony, MO-MCH at the RDHS, Kilinochchi, covering key SRHR topics, maternal and child health, and youth engagement.
