Celebrating the successful completion of the internship training programme at Alokaya Counselling Centre, FPA Sri Lanka, by ten students!

The programme offered a valuable opportunity to connect counselling theory with practical learning through case studies, role-plays and client observation. Participants also explored areas relevant to inclusive, holistic psychosocial care, including Sexual and Reproductive Health, Human Sexuality and Gender Diversity, Addiction counselling, Relaxation techniques and Art Therapy.

Through these learning experiences, students strengthened their understanding of counselling practice, developed essential skills and gained an appreciation of ethical, empathetic and non-judgmental support.
