The Annual Report of FPA Sri Lanka 2012, ‘The Jewel of Initiative’, had the honour and distinction of winning six prestigious awards at the ARC International Awards 2013. The presentation for the awards was held on the 26^th September 2013 at a gala event in New York City, USA.

The awards secured by FPA Sri Lanka include,

• 2 Gold awards for Overall Annual Report and Printing and Production in the Non-profit Organizations/Social Service Organizations category
• 3 Silver awards for President’s Message, Interior Design and Written Text 
• 1 special honour-award for the Cover Design

ARC Awards is one of the largest Annual Report Awards schemes in the world and perhaps the most prestigious.   We consider the numerous awards FPA Sri Lanka received quite significant, in light of the high number of entries (2260) received from 34 countries. As an accredited Member Association of International Planned Parenthood Federation, FPA Sri Lanka re-affirms its commitment to stay globally competitive in the quality of products, services and information it provides.  The organization thus considers its annual report a vital communication tool that reaches its stakeholders, donors and the general public communicating the work carried out in the sphere of social development.

This recognition for the Annual Report, produced by Smart Media, comes at a very significant year in the FPA Sri Lanka history, as it celebrates its 60^th year of exploring innovative and challenging processes of supporting communities in sexual and reproductive health (SRH).
