The youth attached to FPA Sri Lanka play a vital role in the civil society through their involvement in various forums: such as the panel discussion on “Early Marriage and Statutory Rape”(2012)
organized by UNFPA Sri Lanka. YTAC also participated in several working groups, movements on rights of women and marginalized communities and other civil society organizations.Demonstration for the One Billion Rising 2013-Sri Lanka, an event where young people added vigor and color, was a significant campaign which the youth of FPA Sri Lanka was a part of. The online campaign on Female Condoms promoting safe sex in an effort to break the taboo on condom use was another such campaign.
