As part of its social responsibility to strengthen Sri Lanka’s national monitoring and evaluation system, the Monitoring and Evaluation Unit of the Family Planning Association of Sri Lanka conducted a knowledge- and experience-sharing session on FPASL’s Monitoring and Evaluation Information Management System (MEIMS).

The session was delivered to Planning Directors and Administrative Officers of the Western Provincial Council on 13 July 2026 at the Western Provincial Council Auditorium. It was organised by the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.

This initiative marks an important milestone in the process of establishing a dedicated Monitoring and Evaluation Unit within the Western Provincial Council and strengthening its results-based monitoring and management systems.
