The Family Planning Association of Sri Lanka (FPASL) is proud to announce the launch of its dedicated online donation platform: https://donation.fpasrilanka.org/.

This new digital gateway creates a more accessible way for individuals and organizations to directly support the essential health services, education and advocacy programmes FPA delivers across the island through its 10 Service Delivery Points.

As a leading non-governmental organization in the field of Sexual and Reproductive Health,  Rights and Justice since 1953, FPA Sri Lanka continues to serve as a lifeline for those seeking clinical services, education, and counselling. The launch of the "Donate Now" page marks a significant shift toward community-driven sustainability.

Commenting on the launch, the Executive Director of FPA Sri Lanka emphasized the importance of personal contributions:

"Individual giving is the heartbeat of sustainable change. When people choose to invest personally in reproductive health, rights, and justice, they are doing far more than making a donation. They are affirming that every woman, every girl, and every family deserves dignity, choice, and access to quality care.

In Sri Lanka, the gaps in reproductive health services remain real and pressing, and it is the generosity of committed individuals that allows FPA Sri Lanka to reach the most underserved communities. This kind of giving is not charity; it is solidarity. It is a recognition that reproductive justice is not a privilege for the few but a fundamental right for all. The new platform offers three primary ways to engage with FPA Sri Lanka’s mission:

• Cash / Grants – Financial contributions to support ongoing programmes and urgent needs
• Gift in Kind – Donations of essential items such as hygiene kits, medical supplies, and equipment
• Gift in Service – Volunteering time or professional expertise to support outreach and operations
