The third sign language glossary review meeting was held on 17–18 February 2026. Over the two days, signs for fifty words were developed. Technical guidance on the meaning and definitions of each word was provided by experts from the Ministry of Health (Family Health Bureau & Health Promotion Bureau), the Ministry of Education (Departments of Special Education, School Health and Nutrition, and Publications), the National Institute of Education (Department of Inclusive Education), and UNFPA.

Based on this technical input, sign language researchers from the Sri Lanka Central Federation of the Deaf (SLCFD) and the Tamil Deaf Association produced signs for terms related to Sexual and Reproductive Health, Rights, and Justice (SRHRJ). These signs will later be compiled into a video glossary for use by a wider audience.
