Call for Sinhalese Content Writer SRHR Toolkit for LGBTQ+ Communities

We are seeking a skilled and committed Sinhalese Content Writer to develop content for a Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) toolkit on SOGISC. This booklet will be targeted towards youth, teachers and healthcare workers.

Scope of Work

  • Develop clear, accurate, and inclusive Sinhalese content for an SRHR toolkit

  • Ensure content is accurate, LGBTQ+-affirming and rights-based.

  • Work closely with the team to incorporate feedback and finalize content

Duration

  • 3 weeks

Required Qualifications

  • Fluency in written Sinhala

  • Demonstrated familiarity with Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR)

  • Understanding of LGBTQ+ issues and inclusive language

  • Ability to present complex information in a clear, engaging, and user-friendly manner

  • Strong research and content development skills

  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently

Desirable Assets

  • Prior experience developing toolkits, manuals, or training materials

  • Experience working with civil society, youth, or LGBTQ+ organizations

  • Knowledge of rights-based and gender-transformative approaches
