The Monitoring & Evaluation Unit of FPA Sri Lanka conducted a two-day training programme titled 'Theory of Change in Sexual and Reproductive Health Interventions: Applications with a Special Focus on Disability Inclusion' on 29 and 30 September 2026 at Chinthana Eco Retreat.

The main objective of the programme was to strengthen participantsโ€™ knowledge and practical skills in applying the Theory of Change approach to sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) interventions, with particular emphasis on disability-inclusive programming.

The training covered key areas, including causality analysis, developing Theory of Change pathways, formulating results frameworks, and applying evaluation criteria to SRHR interventions. Practical exercises were incorporated throughout the programme to enable participants to apply these concepts to real-world programme contexts.

The programme was held under the purview of the Inclusive Health Project, which is funded by Ambassade de France ร  Sri Lanka et aux Maldives and was facilitated by Mr. Suchira Suranga, Director โ€“ Organizational Learning and Evaluation, together with the FPA Sri Lanka Monitoring & Evaluation team.
