Beyond technical knowledge, the training focused on strengthening attitudes, perceptions, empathy and understanding of the experiences of persons with disabilities. This is essential to reducing barriers and ensuring that services and programmes are accessible, respectful and responsive.

The learning will be applied across FPA Sri Lanka's Service Delivery Points, programme planning and implementation, community outreach and events. Further advanced training, monitoring and ongoing support will continue to strengthen this work as the Inclusive Health Project progresses.
