One of the five MISP trainings under the SPRINT project was successfully conducted by the Outreach Unit, targeting government-level first responders.
The session, which involved Lieutenant Commanders, Lieutenants, Sub Lieutenants, Warrant Officers, Senior Sailors and Junior Sailors from the Naval Base in Trincomalee, equipped them with essential skills to address sexual and reproductive health needs in crisis situations.
This training strengthened their capacity to deliver timely and effective care, enhancing response efforts during emergencies and ultimately contributing to improved health outcomes in disaster scenarios.
Minimum Initial Service Package (MISP) is an internationally accepted minimum standard of care for reproductive health, pioneered and rolled out by IPPF.
