The Youth Services Committee of FPA Sri Lanka is leading the charge for reproductive health rights.
 
The inaugural orientation programme organized by FPA’s Youth Services took place at Hotel Janaki recently.
 
A diverse group of 30 passionate social workers and advocates for sexual and reproductive health and rights from around the country participated in a unique residential interactive programme hosted by the Youth Services Committee.
 
The meticulously curated curriculum addressed key subjects, including reproductive anatomy, endometriosis, menstruation, contraception, LGBTIQ+ rights, abortion, and social media advocacy. Facilitating this educational journey were esteemed trainers Dr. Rashmira Balasooriya, Shelani Palihawadana, Harini Fernando (Senior Manager – Advocacy at FPA), Henry Mitchell (YANSL) and Thushara Manoj from Équité Sri Lanka.
