CSE Programme for Undergraduates

The Outreach Department conducted a Comprehensive Sexuality Education (CSE) programme for second- and fourth-year undergraduates from the Department of Sociology, University of Kelaniya at the FPA Sri Lanka head office.

The session was inaugurated by Mr. Sandun B. Adikari, Assistant Director / Head of the Outreach Department, and featured key resource persons, including Dr. Chintha Rupasinghe, SRH Director of FPA Sri Lanka; Dr. Mihitha Basnayake, Senior Manager of the Advocacy Department; and Radhika Gunaratne, SGBV Consultant. The programme covered essential topics such as Foundations of Sexuality and Reproductive Health, Sexual and Reproductive Health Challenges, Sexuality, Sexual Behavior and Relationships, and Addressing Sexual Misconceptions and Abnormal Behaviors.

By engaging in discussions on these critical areas, students gained valuable insights that contribute to both their academic growth and broader societal understanding of SRH.

FPA Sri Lanka remains dedicated to equipping young people with the knowledge they need for informed decision-making.
