The newest World Risk Report has just been released, with Vanuatu once again topping the list of the worlds most disaster-prone countries. Tonga and the Philippines come in second and third. In these countries, exposure to extreme natural events such as cyclones or earthquakes is very high. They also show a very high level of societal vulnerability. The safest country (for this index): Qatar!
