We were happy to have Dr Manish Mitra, SARO representative, who specializes in youth SRH services, participate in programmes that were held in  Mulliyawalai and Kilinochchi. On the 19^th of March, a Well Women Clinic was held and over 60 ladies were able to receive invaluable services which included screening for breast and cervical cancers. Mr.Ramadas Jeyakumaran (Program Manager) was able to explain details of project implementation and the role of volunteer health assistants (VHA) in organizing and facilitating such clinics in hard to reach parts of our land. In discussions held at the Catalytic fund project office with participation of our Deputy Executive Director Mr Lasantha Gunaratne and VHAs , it was reiterated, that empowering youth by educating them on SRH and related issues are key in making positive changes and improvements  in these communities.
