RFSU Project – Partner meeting

Through the RFSU grant (Riksförbundet för Sexuell Upplysning – IPPF Sweden), FPA Sri Lanka's Advocacy Unit aims to strengthen the policy and advocacy efforts on Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights. Key focus areas include sexual and gender-based violence, menstruation/ menstrual hygiene management, sexual and reproductive health and rights in online space, LGBTIQ+ rights and early and forced child marriage. The second meeting of the partner organisations/individuals involved in the project took place yesterday (15/08/2023) at the FPA Head Office. The attendees included representatives of the organisations being funded this year, including Women in Need, The Grassrooted Trust, Hashtag Generation, Equité Sri Lanka Trust and Ermiza Teagal, an independent researcher.

During the interim meeting, all representatives were given a chance to provide an update on the progress of the planned work for the year and to discuss lessons learnt and challenges faced during the implementation of the activities.
