The Information Centre of FPA Sri Lanka conducted a basic Sexual and Reproductive Health Programme (SRH)

The Information Centre of FPA Sri Lanka conducted a basic Sexual and Reproductive Health Programme (SRH) on the 16th of July at the National Apprentice and Industrial Training Authority (NAITA) in  Gampaha. Over 50 participants between the ages of 17- 22 participated in this educative programme. We at FPA Sri Lanka lay emphasis on youth as the physical and psychological dynamism associated with this age group makes them vulnerable to many risks. Programmes such as these, empower youth  as it raises their awareness of SRH issues, gender-based violence and STD prevention and treatment. Special thanks to Mrs. Punya Hewavithanage (Deputy Director Governance) and Mrs. Chamani Kusumsiri  (Programme Coordinator) for facilitating the sessions.
