The FPA Sri Lanka is in its last phase of the SRH-HIV Integration Project that is being supported by the European Commission. The project will be concluded in June 2015. The IPPF South Asia Regional Office, as the lead body of the project, took the opportunity to acknowledge and celebrate the successes and also take the initiative forward through a sustainability plan in the form of a CSO Symposium which focused on building momentum for integration between SRH and HIV for civil society organisations across the South Asia Region.

The CSO Symposium was held from the 17th to 19th March 2015 in Bangkok, Thailand. The Family Planning Association was represented by Ms Madusha Dissanayake( Director – Advocacy and HIV/AIDS), Dr. Thiloma Munasinghe

(Country Project Coordinator - EU funded Advocacy Project on SRH-HIV integration), and Umanga Settinayake( Programme Manager – Advocacy and HIV).

Several organisations that partnered or participated in many activities and which took great interest in promoting integrated service delivery of SRH and HIV were part of the FPA Sri Lanka delegation. They include the Saviya Development Foundation, the Prathiba Media Network, DIEHERM, and Praja Diriya Padanama.
