On the happy occasion of re-launching FPASL’s website, I as the newly appointed Executive Director of the Association, take pleasure in inviting you to view our website which gives a comprehensive idea of the work we are involved in the field of Sexual and Reproductive Health in Sri Lanka. In carrying out these activities, we are focused on achieving our strategic goals and contributing to the achievement of MDG and ICPD goal of Universal Access to Reproductive Health, for the country.

We believe that reaching out to poor, marginalized and under -served communities will be the key to achieving this goal and have initiated a wide range of projects to ensure access to these groups. The 5 “A”s (Access, Adolescents, Aids/HIV, Advocacy and Abortion) of International Planned Parenthood Federation charts the course for us and provides the framework of action for implementation.
