The YTAC has been involved with numerous activities regarding awareness on HIV, while addressing the need to prevent stigma and discrimination attached to HIV.

Most often, we networked with other local organizations to strengthen our cause. Together We are the Solution for Candle Light Memorial (2009-2011) and Let’s Talk (2011-2012), which combined HIV with sports, walks and workshops, are among numerous activities that took place to raise awareness and reach thousands islandwide on being HIV positive. A representative of YTAC also took part in the World AIDS Conference 2012 in Washington DC, USA, who then went on to participate in the panel discussion on Youth and SRHR Advocacy, which was webcasted live. He shared experiences and made suggestions for the Youth Declaration prepared during the Youth Pre-Conference.
